- WCAGify: the open-source WCAG audit tool, made available under the MIT license.
- User: any person or organization that installs, configures, or uses WCAGify.
- Service: the use of WCAGify as a self-hosted application or the accompanying browser extension.
- We/Us: focusring.io, the creators and maintainers of WCAGify.
2. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to the use of WCAGify, including the browser extension and the self-hosted application. By using WCAGify, you agree to these terms.
3. License
WCAGify is offered under the MIT License. You may freely use, copy, modify, and distribute the software, provided the original license and copyright notice are retained.
4. Use of the Service
- WCAGify is a self-hosted application. You are responsible for the installation, configuration, hosting, and security of your own WCAGify instance.
- The browser extension communicates exclusively with the WCAGify instance you configure yourself. No data is sent to us or third parties.
- You are responsible for the content of your audit reports and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
5. Availability
We do not guarantee uptime or availability. WCAGify is open-source software that runs on your own infrastructure. Availability depends on your own hosting.
6. Liability
- WCAGify is provided "as is", without any warranty, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of WCAGify, including but not limited to incorrect audit results, data loss, or security incidents.
- You are responsible for making backups of your data.
7. Intellectual Property
- The WCAGify source code is licensed under the MIT License.
- The WCAGify brand, logo, and name are the property of focusring.io.
- The content you create with WCAGify (audit reports, findings) remains your property.
8. Changes
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Changes will be published on this page. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
